[Update!] I have four smart meters!

So, today I finally went on the side of my garage to see if I have a smart meter.  I live in a town home, but for some reason I was thinking that when I opened the closet on the side of my garage I'd find only one smart meter.  My electric company is Southern California Edison by the way.  So, on my way back from my car I opened the closet to find this:

Not one, not two, not three, but FOUR smart meters on the side of my garage... right below one of our bedrooms.

So, like an idiot, I called SCE and asked whether or not all four meters were related to where I live.  The moron on the other end of the line refused to tell me any information, irregardless of the fact I was looking for a "yes" or "no" answer to my question.  I continually heard "I cannot give out any other account's information".  It turns out, each meter has an address associated with it.  So, not only are we getting constant RF exposure of our meter, we are getting exposure from three other resident's meters.  To top that off, right outside this closet is a small lawn that divides us from the next town home... can you guess what is sitting 15-20 feet away from the closet housing our smart meters?  Another four smart meters.  That is 8 smart meters within 20 feet of my house, all churning out RF radiation on a constant basis.

Of course, SCE has an opt-out; you pay them a $75 enrollment to have an analog meter installed and then $10 per month thereafter.  Our situation though is, of course, what about the other SEVEN?  Sure, we can try and approach each resident about the issue.  But since these meters aren't on the other side of their wall do you really think they are going to want to spend $75 for our benefit and then another $10 per month after?  Sure, we could offer to pay their monthly, but in their eyes they will be liable.

In case you were wondering whether or not smart meter concerns are held by tin foil hat wearing nutjobs I'll provide a few places where you can arrive to whatever conclusion you wish.

‘Smart’ Meters Violate FCC Radiation Exposure Limits Says New Study

Oh, and for those morons out there that say "smart meters transmit roughly once a day through a sms gateway", this one is for you:

So, what should we do?  I think if my neighbors wont play ball I'll have to play dirty.  Maybe if SCE constantly have to send someone out to fix broken meters they'll get the message.

Oh, and another thing; why is it that, due to their "official" line on these dumb meters, why is nobody calling these asshole utilities out on instead of creating jobs and helping the economy, they are instead seeking more money and control?

Is it pure coincidence that every f'ing utility company rolls this out concurrent of each other?  Call me cynical, but I don't buy that BS for one second.  That's like all cable companies mirroring each other.  That's just like all oil companies being in collusion.  Oh, wait a minute...  Right.  So then, from who and how high up did this idea come from?  And why?

Oh... OK.  So, maybe the utilities are in collusion with each other, and at the same time, in bed with or doing the bidding of a higher power!  And, of course, here again, we get the "global warming" and "carbon footprint" bullshit slant.  Preying on ignorance as always.  Straight from this asshole's mouth, the utilities installation of smart meters is government subsidized.  Which means while in one area big brotha taketh away, he giveth you some good old EMF and RF radiation pollution in your home.  Gee, why would big brotha Obama want to do that?

**Update 10/26/12**:  So Edison sent a technician out to remove our one (of four) smart meters.  The tech was very nice and, believe it or not, was extremely concerned about working with the smart meters.  He said at this time there is a massive class action law suit taking place and word is the suit should reach a conclusion next year.  He also mentioned that all of his co-workers are concerned over smart meter health risks as well... he even asked me for any printed material that he can take with him.  He, and his fellow employees, are aware of the fact that assistance on smart meter deployment has been provided to utilities via the federal government.  Unfortunately, he declined to be interviewed by me... I also offered to block out any of his personal information and face.  A big plus though, is my neighbors can actually talk to him when he is back on site to deal with any number of the remaining meters.

And just to be thorough, he mentioned that people all over our county (Orange County, CA) are opting-out of them... some people even lock-up their analog meters with signs warning Edison to not tamper with their property.  He also said that he has talked to several electrical engineers, on the job, that have all warned him about the associated risks with the meters.  One supposedly asked him why he wasn't provided with protective gear (he also works on commercial sites that have up to hundreds of smart meters co-located in banks).

On another note, I have heard that co-locating smart meters violates FCC regulations on exposure to EMF and RF.  I have yet to find this myself, but this sort of information is, of course, buried within bureaucratic garbage one must sift through.

**Update 11/02/12**: So far, we have had two of the meters removed and are awaiting removal of the third.  For the fourth, we are going to have to approach the HOA.  Also, our neighbor, who also has four meters on her wall like us, is onboard.

My take on the the third presidential debate...

Within the first ten minutes I lost my appetite and felt nauseous.  Here is my cliff notes of last nights debate:

Obama on Iraq:
"We ended the war in Iraq, refocused our attention on those who actually killed us on 9/11."
Last time I checked, the nineteen people that supposedly, or "officially", were responsible for 9/11 died already.  And about Iraq, I doubt you'd hear a 20-year-old going out on patrol say that the "war" has ended... let alone some guys on their seventh or eighth tour.  Do you think someone who lost a son last month would agree?  That's just plain insulting.  Also, when did we start calling preemptive aggression, with no declaration from Congress, war?  I guess when Congress neutered themselves maybe?

Romney's idea of making the Muslim world better are according to his own ideals.  Whether we like them or not, you cannot push your opinions onto others.  Step three in Romney's "plan" to make the Muslim world better is this; "Number three, gender equality."  Again, it takes a damn fool to think like this... and I guess he is.  His second part of his "plan" entails this; "Number two, better education."  Why is it we even need to worry about foreign Muslim education when we can't even get it right here?  I have a better idea; why don't we just mind our own matters for once?!?  Maybe, not only do we need to provide things like the Dream Act to foreign nationals, we can provide a "western" education, one that people like Romney believe is appropriate.  Since when do people not have to earn anything?  I don't understand.  I suppose it's just me.  Women in Iran don't take much shit - I can see maybe having a stance on that.  But other areas where people lie down and take it, just like a lot of Americans bend over and take it on so many issues, I'm just not willing to help anyone if they aren't willing to help themselves.  This is just absurd.

Of Libya Romney had to say "It's wonderful that Libya seems to be making some progress, despite this terrible tragedy."  I guess he doesn't realize that most people know NATO assisted al-Qaeda and radical elements, insurgents as the media likes to call the same people in Iraq, in Libya just as they now do in Syria.  Of course, both Obama and Romney want you to believe Assad is killing Syrian citizens... which is utter bullshit propaganda.  Romney will, if he infests the office, continue support of al-Qaeda and radical foreign fighters.

Romney sure did like to beat the Iran drums didn't he?  Here is some of what he had to say about Iran... brace yourself:

"And, of course, Iran on the path to a nuclear weapon, we've got real (inaudible)."
"Iran is the greatest national security threat we face."

And this one is, um, rather funny:

"Syria is Iran's only ally in the Arab world. It's their route to the sea."
Maybe Romney is another person who couldn't find his ass with both hands.  Iran does, in fact, have a coastline.

"When the -- when the president of Iraq -- excuse me, of Iran, Ahmadinejad, says that our debt makes us not a great country, that's a frightening thing."
And here, I give you the one thing, where if you vote for Romney you are in fact really, and I say this in all honesty, an enemy of liberty and freedom... as by his own statement below, Romney fancies himself the thought police akin.

"I'd make sure that Ahmadinejad is indicted under the Genocide Convention. His words amount to genocide incitation."
Romney went on to call Russia an American foe:

"First of all, Russia I indicated is a geopolitical foe."
Romney then went on to make an imaginary distinction about geopolitical foes and national security threats.  What Romney really means by his statement on Russia, is that even though Russia mistakenly joined the WTO, they are an obstacle to the western globalist elite... the masters that work his and Obama's strings.

And of course, Mitt promises twelve million jobs.  He also promises to provide more incentive to bring industry back.  Gee, what kind of incentive could he provide.  To me, this gives me shivers to think about.  That industry mainly went to China, where they earn pennies on the dollar.  So how bad will it be to tempt one of these greedy corporations that moved to China to come back?  And twelve million jobs?  We have zero industry.  I mean, even a lot of service jobs are even off-shored such as tech support.  Maybe the jobs he speaks of will be cogs in the police state wheel, IRS agents, and security guards.  No thanks.

Obama regarding the terrorists (al-Qaeda and other radical foreign fighters) operating within Syria:

"We have provided humanitarian assistance and we are helping the opposition organize, and we're particularly interested in making sure that we're mobilizing the moderate forces inside of Syria."
I've posted before on Obama's support of these terrorists.

"But ultimately, Syrians are going to have to determine their own future."

Of course, Obama's statement here is a joke and a flat-out lie.  He and other NATO nations, France being one, have been assisting terrorists...  Click here to see who both Obama and Romney support in Syria.  What do you think the average Afghan or Iraqi would tell you if asked whether or not they felt that the fate of their nation was self-determined?

I would love to know, also, how many times Romney brought up Israel.  As one of my friends said, Romney was being a total whore to the Jewish vote in the swing state of Florida (and of course, the meddling Bibi and pro-Israel lobbies).  Enough of Israel.  Let Israel worry about Israel.  And let them act appropriately for once.

One could go on and on... which I will not.  This year is going to be a big one for me.  If I don't see my fellow-Americans pull their heads out of their butts in regards to GMO's, corrupt politics, and corrupt banking, I might just quit and delete this blog.  If you are smart you will boycott the presidential elections and vote on what really matters, such as in California, Proposition 37.  I've said it before and now I will say it again; there is no difference between Obama and Romney that goes deeper than the color of their ties and what programs they cut funding from.  Don't let your own agenda, regarding what serves you now, be it taxes or a government program you benefit from, buy you, effectively utilizing you to keep this corrupt game going.

Proposition 37 - The "imaginary" costs...

Well, the anti-Prop 37 goons are at it again.  Again, touting that the labeling of GMO's will cost billions, with a "B", that's $1,000,000,000's.  Maybe I'm just kind of rational, but I don't think that if, and when, Proposition 37 passes, all food containing GMO's sitting on store shelves will be recalled to be "repackaged"... that's asanine.  And, I'm still waiting for any one of these anti-Prop 37 morons to clarify how adding two words to a label will increase overall costs of products.

And to consumers that are swayed by the wide-sweeping lies of $400 of annual added food and grocery expenses; if you value $400 more than providing good, natural, and nutritional food and ingredients to your family you have some issues of priorities.

But hey, every daily newspaper in California agrees, "No on Prop 37".  As if, anyway, printed corporate newspapers are relevant anymore to begin with.  As is, those same newspapers have lost the majority of their readership and are struggling to fund their operations.  As if they weren't given a dime by the corporations mentioned later in this post.  As if... ...

Oh yeah and what about the "special interest exemptions; dog food requires a label but meat for human consumption does not."  Well, could it possibly be because a steak sitting on a shelf at the market doesn't have GMO ingredients but dog food does???  I've said it again and again, cat and dog food, the bad kinds anyway, are full of GMO corn and grain... used as a filler.  But the anti-Prop 37 simpleton goons like to spin things, of course, preying on the fact Mr. John Doe out there can't find his ass with both hands.

The pro-GMO goons also like to bring up shakedown lawsuits.  Why would anyone be sued when ingredients are labeled.  Of course, they go into no further detail what-so-ever.  Hey, wait a minute, what about biotech suing and shutting down farms and farmers when their crops become polluted with GMO seed?    Unlike the complete idiots at "No on Prop. 37" I'll furnish, just a few, links where you may read further on the shady nature of biotech firms:

Read countless experiences with Monsanto here...

For you Viet Nam vets out there, Monsanto was one of the most important manufacturers of Agent Orange as well.  [It was Mitt Romney (no, he's not a cheesy 80's game show host) who saved Monsanto's reputation]

And, of course, you can kind of, maybe, do your own research... you know?

Ok, and now we will list all of the donors that want to keep you from knowing the ingredients of the food you buy:

And now, I'll leave you with the back story on one of Proposition 37's biggest opponents.  Watch it.  Send it to your friends and family.

This has not been paid for by No on 37: Coalition Against Food Labeling, sponsored by Farmers, Food Producers, and Grocers. Major funding by Monsanto Company, E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co., Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) and more than 40 food company members.  This was written by someone, like you, that must eat food to live.  Someone that wants to eat natural food, not food from a laboratory.  Someone that doesn't want or need even more health variables in my life.  Someone that wants to protect what is natural.  Someone that knows and believes he has a right to know what's in his food.

Michael Murphy from Truth Production Media: What in the hell are they spraying?

Geo-engineers maintain that their models are only for the mitigation of the now widely debunked theory of global warming. What is clear is that chemtrails/geoengineering can be used as a way to consolidate an enormous amount of both monetary and political power into the hands of the technocratic elites. Certain international corporations can now leverage weather control to gain power over the Earth's natural systems. This of course, is being done at the expense of every living thing on the planet. WHY in the World are They Spraying? is a must see film and will revolutionize the environmental movement.

Bibi confronted and proof of Zionist meddling in U.S. politics

See Bibi color.

So, here is a quick couple of excerpts from a speech, I believe from last month (August), delivered by Shaul Mofaz (the leader of the second largest political party within Israel - the Kadima) on the floor of the Knesset and aimed at none other than the notorious hotheaded mind-fuck known as Bibi (Benjamin Netanyahu).  Within this speech not only does Mofaz make it apparent some Israeli citizens think Bibi is mad, which we already all knew... but he goes on to mention Israel's Zionist interference within American politics and policy.

Here is where Mr. Mofaz hints at the extent of Zionist influence and manipulation:

This PR campaign has deeply penetrated the 'zone of immunity' of our national security, threatens to weaken our deterrence, and our relations with our best friends. Mr. prime minister, you want a crude, rude, unprecedented, reckless, and risky intervention in the US elections. Tell us who you serve and for what? Why are you putting your hand deep into the ballot boxes of the American electorate?

And here, he simply addresses Bibi's fear mongering madness:

Mr. prime minister, you're creating panic. You are trying to frighten us and terrify us. And in truth - we are scared: scared by your lack of judgment, scared that you both lead and don’t lead, scare that you are executing a dangerous and irresponsible policy.
The middle class has already gone to the bomb shelters, Mr. prime minister, but not because of your incessant prattle about a nuclear Iran. It has gone to the bomb shelters in an attempt to be saved from the senseless and stiff-necked policies that you are waging against it. Where is the Magic Wand that will intercept the combined attack that you are launching against Israel's population centers? Where is the Iron Dome that will protect them against you?

So then, there you have it.  I think like any overweight, socially-inept, and stubborn kid, there comes a time when they need to be kicked out of their nest and out from the protective roof of his or her guardian.  I believe we have long past that time where Israel is concerned; Israel should no longer be able to hide behind the United States.  Israel is either a nation or a state of the United States... period.  And it's obvious that they want to be a nation.  So be it.  Let them, and that mad idiot Bibi, stand on their own, accountable for their actions while unable to hide behind a "protector".  Maybe then, and then only, would morons like Netanyahoo not try and start shit they can't carry out on their own.

By the way, I'm not anti-Israel, nor am I anti-anyone... yet I am anti-everyone.  I am simply anti-bullshit.

The reality of Israel and Palestine is it is just another mess created by the powers residing in Europe and the United States at the close of WWII.  And just like Iraq, prior to its creation, guess who held it?  The English.  The English have given the world the gift that is the middle east... just as Spain had gifted the world with the third world wonders of Central and South America.

And don't get me started regarding religions that hold 11th century beliefs that their omnipotent gods value one piece of dirt more than any other... transferring their little squabbling, intellectually retarded minds onto their gods.

How the Masters of the Universe Infect the Internet

An Ex-Shill
Veterans Today
October 12, 2012

I am writing here to come out of the closet as a paid shill. For a little over six months, I was paid to spread disinformation and argue political points on the Internet. This site, xxx, was NOT one that I was assigned to post on, although other people in the same organization were paid to be here, and I assume they still walk among you. But more on this later.

I quit this job in the latter part of 2011, because I became disgusted with it, and with myself. I realized I couldn’t look myself in the mirror anymore. If this confession triggers some kind of retribution against me, so be it. Part of being a real man in this world is having real values that you stand up for, no matter what the consequences.

My story begins in early 2011. I had been out of work for almost a year after losing my last job in tech support. Increasingly desperate and despondent, I jumped at the chance when a former co-worker called me up and said she had a possible lead for me.
“It is an unusual job, and one that requires secrecy. But the pay is good. And I know you are a good writer, so its something you are suited for.” (Writing has always been a hobby for me). She gave me only a phone-number and an address, in one of the seedier parts of San Francisco, where I live.
Intrigued, I asked her for the company’s URL and some more info. She laughed. “They don’t have a website. Or even a name. You’ll see. Just tell them I referred you.” Yes, it sounded suspicious, but long-term joblessness breeds desperation, and desperation has a funny way of overlooking the suspicious when it comes to putting food on the table.

The next day, I arrived at the address – the third floor in a crumbling building. The appearance of the place did not inspire confidence. After walking down a long, filthy linoleum-covered corridor lit by dimly-flickering halogen, I came to the entrance of the office itself: a crudely battered metal door with a sign that said “United Amalgamated Industries, Inc.,” (sounds like “Urban Movers”).

I later learned that this “company” changed its name almost monthly, always using bland names like that which gave no strong impression of what the company actually does. Not too hopeful, I went inside.

The interior was equally shabby. There were a few long tables with folding chairs, at which about a dozen people were tapping away on old, beat-up computers.

There were no decorations or ornaments of any type: not even the standard-issue office fica trees or plastic ferns. What a dump. Well, beggars can’t be choosers.

The manager, a balding man in his late forties, rose from the only stand-alone desk in the room and came forward with an easy smile. “You must be Chris. Yvette [my ex-co-worker] told me you’d be coming.” [Not our real names]. “Welcome. Let me tell you a little about what we do.”

No interview, nothing. I later learned they took people based solely on referral, and that the people making the referrals, like my ex-colleague Yvette, were trained to pick out candidates based on several factors including ability to keep one’s mouth shut, basic writing skills, and desperation for work.

We sat down at his desk and he began by asking me a few questions about myself and my background, including my political views (which were basically non-existent). Then he began to explain the job.
“We work on influencing people’s opinions here,” is how he described it. The company’s clients paid them to post on Internet message boards and popular chartrooms, as well as in gaming forums and social networks like Facebook and MySpace. Who were these clients? “Oh, various people,” he said vaguely. “Sometimes private companies, sometimes political groups.”
Satisfied that my political views were not strong, he said I would be assigned to political work. “The best people for this type of job are people like you, without strong views,” he said with a laugh. “It might seem counterintuitive, but actually we’ve found that to be the case.”

Well, OK. Fine. As long as it comes with a steady paycheck, I’d believe whatever they wanted me to believe, as the guy in Ghostbusters said. After discussing pay (which was much better than I’d hoped) and a few other details, he then went over the need for absolute privacy and secrecy.
“You can’t tell anyone what we do here. Not your wife, not your dog.” (I have neither, as it happens.) “We’ll give you a cover story and even a phone number and a fake website you can use. You will have to tell people you are a consultant. Since your background is in tech support, that will be your cover job. Is this going to be a problem for you?”

I assured him it would not. “Well, OK. Shall we get started?” “Right now?” I asked, a bit taken aback. “No time like the present!” he said with a hearty laugh.

The rest of the day was taken up with training. Another staff member, a no-nonsense woman in her thirties, was to be my trainer, and training would only last two days. “You seem like a bright guy, you’ll get the hang of it pretty fast, I think,” she said. And indeed, the job was easier than I’d imagined.

My task was simple: I would be assigned to four different websites, with the goal of entering certain discussions and promoting a certain view.

I learned later that some of the personnel were assigned to internet message boards (like me), while others worked on Facebook or chatrooms. It seems these three types of media each have different strategy for shilling, and each shill concentrates on one of the three in particular.
My task? “To support Israel and counter anti-Israeli, anti-Semitic posters.” Fine with me. I had no opinions one way or another about Israel, and who likes anti-Semites and Nazis? Not me, anyway. But I didn’t know too much about the topic.
“That’s OK,” she said. “You’ll pick it up as you go along. For the most part, at first, you will be doing what we call “meme-patrol.” This is pretty easy. Later if you show promise, we’ll train you for more complex arguments, where more in-depth knowledge is necessary.”
She handed me two binders with sheets enclosed in limp plastic. The first was labeled simply “Israel” in magic-marker on the cover, and it had two sections .

The first section contained basic background info on the topic. I would have to read and memorize some of this, as time went on. It had internet links for further reading, essays and talking points, and excerpts from some history books.

The second, and larger, section was called“Strat” (short for “strategy”) with long lists of “dialogue pairs.” These were specific responses to specific postings. If a poster wrote something close to “X,” we were supposed to respond with something close to “Y.”

“You have to mix it up a bit, though,” said my trainer.“Otherwise it gets too obvious. Learn to use a thesaurus.”
"This section also contained a number of hints for de-railing conversations that went too far away from what we were attempting.
These strategies included various forms of personal attacks, complaining to the forum moderators, smearing the characters of our opponents, using images and icons effectively, and even dragging the tone of the conversation down with sexual innuendo, links to pornography, or other such things.
“Sometimes we have to fight dirty,” or trainer told us. “Our opponents don’t hesitate to, so we can’t either.”
The second binder was smaller, and it contained information specific to the web sites I would be assigned to. The sites I would work were:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, and a handful of smaller sites that rotated depending on need. As stated, I was NOT assigned to work xxx (although others in my group were), which is part of the reason I am posting this here, rather than elsewhere.

I wanted to post this on Godlike Productions at first, but they have banned me from even viewing that site for some reason (perhaps they are onto me?). But if somebody connected with this site can get the message to them, I think they should know about it, because that was the site I spent a good 70% of my time working on.

The site-specific info in the second binder included a brief history each site, including recent flame-wars, as well as info on what to avoid on each site so as not to get banned.
It also had quite detailed info on the moderators and the most popular regged posters on each site: location (if known), personality type, topics of interest, background sketch, and even some notes on how to “push the psychological buttons” of different posters. Although I didn’t work for xxx, I did see they had a lot of info on your so-called “WATS” posters here (the ones with gold borders around their edges). “Focus on the popular posters,” my trainer told me.
“These are the influential ones. Each of these is worth 50 to 100 of the lesser known names.” Each popular poster was classified as “hostile,” “friendly,” or “indifferent” to my goal. We were supposed to cultivate friendship with the friendly posters as well as the mods (basically, by brownnosing and sucking up), and there were even notes on strategies for dealing with specific hostile posters. The info was pretty detailed, but not perfect in every case.
“If you can convert one of the hostile posters from the enemy side to our side, you get a nice bonus. But this doesn’t happen too often, sadly. So mostly you’ll be attacking them and trying to smear them.”
At first, like I said, my job was “meme-patrol.” This was pretty simple and repetitive; it involved countering memes and introducing new memes, and didn’t demand much in-depth knowledge of the subject. Mostly just repetitive posting based on the dialogue pairs in the “Strat” section of the first binder.
A lot of my job was de-railing and spamming threads that didn’t go our way, or making accusations of racism and anti-Semitism. Sometimes I had to simply lie and claim a poster said something or did something “in another thread” they really hadn’t said or done
I felt bad about this…but in the end I felt worse about the possibility of losing the first job I’d been able to get since losing my “real” job.

The funny thing was, although I started the job with no strong opinions or political views, after a few weeks of this I became very emotionally wedded to the pro-Israel ideas I was pushing.

There must be some psychological factor at work…a good salesman learns to honestly love the products he’s selling, I guess.

It wasn’t long before my responses became fiery and passionate, and I began to learn more about the topic on my own. “This is a good sign,” my trainer told me. “It means you are ready for the next step: complex debate.”

The “complex debate” part of the job involved a fair amount of additional training, including memorizing more specific information about the specific posters (friendly and hostile) I’d be sparring with. Here, too, there were scripts and suggested lines of argument, but we were given more freedom.

There were a lot of details to this more advanced stage of the job – everything from how to select the right avatar to how to use“demotivationals” (humorous images with black borders that one finds floating around the web). Even the proper use of images of cats was discussed.

Sometimes we used faked or photo-shopped images or doctored news reports (something else that bothered me).
I was also given the job of tying to find new recruits, people “like me” who had the personality type, ability to keep a secret, basic writing/thinking skills, and desperation necessary to sign on a shill. I was less successful at this part of the job, though, and I couldn’t find another in the time I was there.

After a while of doing this, I started to feel bad. Not because of the views I was pushing (as I said, I was first apolitical, then pro-Israel), but because of the dishonesty involved. If my arguments were so correct, I wondered, why did we have to do this in the first place? Shouldn’t truth propagate itself naturally, rather than through, well…propaganda?

And who was behind this whole operation, anyway? Who was signing my paychecks? The stress of lying to my parents and friends about being a “consultant” was also getting to me. Finally, I said enough was enough.

I quit in September 2011. Since then I’ve been working a series of unglamorous temp office jobs for lower pay. But at least I’m not making my living lying and heckling people who come online to express their views and exercise freedom of speech.

A few days ago I happened to be in the same neighborhood and on a whim thought I’d check out the old office. It turns out the operation is gone, having moved on.

This, too, I understood, is part of their strategy: Don’t stay in the same place for too long, don’t keep the same name too long, move on after half a year or so.

Keeping a low profile, finding new employees through word of mouth: All this is part of the shill way of life. But it is a deceptive way of life, and no matter how noble the goals (I remain pro-Israel, by the way), these sleazy means cannot be justified by the end.

This is my confession. I haven’t made up my mind yet about whether I want to talk more about this, so if I don’t respond to this thread, don’t be angry.
But I think you should know: Shills exist. They are real. They walk among you, and they pay special attention to your popular gold-bordered WATS posters. You should be aware of this. What you choose to do with this awareness is up to you.

The Presidentail Debate and Taxes

Isn't it funny how, while the dollar is dying a slow, quiet death, everyone, including the two idiots, Romney and Obama, are concerned and talking taxes???

You know, divide and conquer.  Look out for number one.

There is no more sense of community, unless your an immigrant, especially an illegal alien,  within the United States.  There is no more inter-connectedness.  I suppose that that sense of community had slowly began to vanish after WWII.  Sure, in the face of tragedy, Americans tend to band together... but it is always short-lived... much like an alcoholic or drug addicts memory of the pains of addiction are often short-lived after a dry spell.

We divide ourselves (thinking about the "me" and "cutting my taxes"), and we will ultimately be responsible for our fate.  Just as we liked to buy cheap, crappy Chinese products, which led to more and more U.S. companies shutting down domestic manufacturing, we now are reaping the economy we have sown.  And regarding taxes, we reap what we sow because we allow a private organization, the "Federal" Reserve, to print money, in secret no less, and then loan it to the government on interest, interest that your taxes pay... interest that if you don't pay, the "Feds" henchmen called the Internal Revenue Service exact their pound of your flesh.

I might add also, that the personal income tax was created when the "Fed" began printing money; prior to that time business and trade was taxed, individual labor/income was not.

So, in the end, all these morons that are concerned about cutting their precious taxes completely missed the boat.  There was, and has been, only one person that correctly called the financial game what it is, from the "Fed" on down, and that person was Ron Paul.  Of course, he himself was caught in the partisan game of theater and was unwilling to cut ties with the R's.

You want it all for next to nothing or you want it all handed to you on a silver platter.

Most of these tools that seek their taxes being cut are pro-war; they are for the campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan... but of course, they don't want to pay for it.  They are for having a military presence within over a hundred foreign nations, but they don't necessarily want to pay for that personally.  And of course, when private and publicly traded corporations, from the "Fed"'s own Bank of America to Goldman Sachs to AIG, and many more, were given an insane amount of your tax money, where was the outrage?  The Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), which allowed for bailouts utilizing your taxes, was enacted by the Bush administration - not Obama; oh yeah, but they are sssoooo different.  Why is it that within this demographic there was more noise on whether or not Bill Clinton got a blow job in the oval office?  Really - what's worse, corporate handouts in a BIG way or a blow job?  [In all fairness, the left, also known as Democrats, operate in the same fashion... and this is the manner that keeps the wool over the eyes of Americans.]

And for the record, I do not like the tax scheme or the printing of our money, which has driven down the purchasing power of the dollar for the last 100 years.

The same power structure, of bankers, heads and owners of multinational corporations, and financial elite, control both Obama and Romney.

Think about it; you are offered only two choices.  Who chooses these two choices?  Where do these two receive all their money to campaign?  Money is never given without strings attached.  Why is it, that decade after decade, no "outside" party has ever held the highest office?  Why is it that the media displayed such slanted bias with candidates such as Ron Paul while highlighting those playing "within the systems rule set"?

I'll tell you why; this game is an illusion.  Again, it's no different than being told you are going to go to a nice restaurant but you can only order one of two items.  The game is rigged.

In the end, and while Rome (the infrastructure of the United States) continues to burn and erode, NOTHING will change within the next four years as long as the system remains intact as it is today and was ten years ago, and the twenty yet before that.  Mark my words... I promise you, a human being who is master of self-delusion, we will be in the same situation, likely worse, than the one we are in now, October 16, 2012, regardless of whether it is Obama or Romney that infests the office.

Bookmark this page, and read it in four years for a great big "I told you so".

I guess no one has informed the creators of this video that there is no such thing as GMO cow milk... wait, the ad is promoted by biotech, so they know this.  But, of course, genetically modified cows are something biotech wants to accomplish - a simple Google search will reveal this.

The only individuals that have something to fear from Prop 37 is biotech firms.  Adding a few words to a damn label does NOT increase costs for a farmer, hence it does not cost more for the consumer.

Did you ever believe people that appear in commercials anyways?  Farmers often operate at lower cost when buying/growing biotech's GMO seed anyways... so even if there was a farmer growing Monsanto corn denouncing Prop 37, are you going to believe him???  By the way, this practice of getting farms on board the GMO program assists their [biotech] agenda of the total domination of agriculture.

Whether or not Prop 37 was written perfectly matters not.  What matters is that products, some would be better than none, would begin to be labeled for GMO content.  Consumers should know what they are picking up off the shelf at the grocery store.

Oh, one more thing; when have you ever been able to know the ingredients, printed on the packaging, on products sold by fast food or restaurants?  That's right... never.  It requires much digging on your end to get to the facts, something which I have done often.

The individuals that eat food, which means everyone, stand to be better informed from Proposition 37.  Think for yourself and think about that.

PS: Why do you think that the "NoProp37" YouTube page has disabled ratings or comments?  It is to control popular opinion and they don't want their videos showing a shit ton of dislikes... because what they put forth is total and complete bullshit.

Siberian Tiger Quest

Ecologist Chris Morgan travels to far eastern Russia, in search of the Siberian tigers that hold rank in the frozen forests. The film features the work of Korean cameraman Sooyong Park, the first individual ever to film Siberian tigers in the wild. Park spent years in the forest tracking and filming the world’s biggest cat. Park’s tracking technique was unconventional, but produced more than a thousand hours of wild tiger footage and captured the saga of a Siberian tiger dynasty. Morgan spends time with Park, learning firsthand just how hard it was for him to achieve his remarkable accomplishment.Buy the DVD

This film premiered October 10, 2012.

We MUST save these cats.  I know Putin wants to save them, or so he says, but I don't get why he isn't playing hardball with poachers... and the Chinese.

This Halloween don't buy Mars

Got a sweet tooth? Think twice before picking up a Mars candy bar! You should know that candymaker Mars, Inc.—creator of M&M's, Snickers, Twix, Dove, Three Musketeers, Starburst, Skittles, and other candies—funds deadly animal tests, even though there are more reliable human studies and not one of the tests is required by law.

Mars recently funded a deadly experiment on rats to determine the effects of chocolate ingredients on their blood vessels. Experimenters force-fed the rats by shoving plastic tubes down their throats and then cut open the rats' legs to expose an artery, which was clamped shut to block blood flow. After the experiment, the animals were killed. Mars has also funded cruel experiments in which mice were fed a candy ingredient and forced to swim in a pool of a water mixed with white paint. The mice had to find a hidden platform to avoid drowning, only to be killed and dissected later on. In yet another experiment supported by Mars, rats were fed cocoa and anesthetized with carbon dioxide so that their blood could be collected by injecting a needle directly into their hearts, which can lead to internal bleeding and other deadly complications.

Mars' top competitor, Hershey's, has pledged not to fund or conduct experiments on animals. Other major food corporations—including Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Ocean Spray, Welch's, and POM Wonderful—have also publicly ended animal tests after hearing from PETA.

Huge eyeball turns up in Pompano Beach

David Fleshler
Sun Sentinel
October 11, 2012

Taking his usual morning stroll along the surf in Pompano Beach, Gino Covacci noticed a strange ball-like object at the high tide line. He kicked it over and found himself staring at the biggest eyeball he had ever seen.

The blue, softball-sized orb he found Wednesday was a departure from the shells, cigarette butts and seaweed he usually sees. He put it in a plastic bag and put that in the refrigerator.

"It was very, very fresh," he said Thursday. "It was still bleeding when I put it in the plastic bag."

He notified a police officer, who gave him the phone number for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. No one could say immediately what species the giant eye came from.

Wildlife officers placed the eyeball on ice. It will be preserved in formalin, a mixture of formaldehyde and water, before being sent for analysis to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute in St. Petersburg, said Carli Segelson, spokeswoman for the wildlife commission.

So what creature is now swimming around with an eye patch?

No one is certain, although the waters off South Florida abound with species large enough to be possibilities, including swordfish, tuna, sharks and whales. Giant squids are known for developing huge eyes to gather in what little light reaches their deep ocean habitat.

Charles Messing, a professor at Nova Southeastern University's Oceanographic Center, said he couldn't rule out a giant squid but his examination of photographs of various marine creatures led him to think the most likely candidate was a swordfish.

Swordfish are extremely common off South Florida, which supports an active commercial and recreational fishery.

Segelson said the identification of the species could take some time, although scientists are starting to narrow it down.

"Right now it sounds like a large fish is the leading candidate," she said.

Organs Made to Order: First Lab-Grown Trachea Transplant

October 8, 2012

Lab-grown body parts are plentiful in science fiction, but they haven’t yet made it into the everyday practices of real-life surgeons. A groundbreaking surgery in Sweden might change that after a patient received a transplanted trachea that was grown from his very own stem cells. In an incredible cooperation between surgeons at Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden and University College in London, a man whose own windpipe was ruined by cancer was the recipient of the first donor-less transplant in June 2011.

The surgeons started off by creating 3-D scans of the patient’s windpipe. Researchers at the University College in London then created a glass scaffold that was an exact replica of the original windpipe. The scaffold was soaked in the patient’s own stem cells from his bone marrow, which quickly took hold and created a brand new trachea in just two days. Thanks to the fact that the trachea was made from his own stem cells and did not come from a donor, there was no chance of rejection by his body and no need for the typical anti-rejection drugs needed by other transplant recipients. The best news to come out of this milestone is that people who desperately need organ transplants may not have to wait for a suitable donor in the future; this technology could be used to grow almost anything they need in a lab within just a few days.

Turkey Is Hell Bent On Provoking War in the Middle East

Paul Joseph Watson

October 11, 2012

Confirmation that Turkey is hell bent on provoking conflict with Syria that could easily escalate into a regional war arrived last night when the Turks intercepted a Syrian commercial airliner bound for Damascus, falsely claiming the plane was carrying military equipment.

Despite the fact that the Turks could have asked to inspect the plane’s cargo and had it land in Turkey by consent, they instead chose to unleash a show of force by having Turkish Air Force F-16 jets aggressively intercept the plane and force it to land in Ankara as soon as the airliner crossed into Turkish airspace.

The airliner was en-route from Moscow with 30 passengers, 17 of which were Russian. Russia reacted angrily to the incident, saying it was refused access to the citizens for 8 hours and that their lives were put in danger.

Turkey initially claimed it had intelligence suggesting weapons were on board the plane but later admitted that all it had seized was communications equipment. Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu claimed the confiscated equipment was “illegal cargo,” a term that was later watered down to “objectionable” cargo.

According to passengers, masked men boarded the plane when it landed and proceeded to beat four people.

Turkey flies three commercial planes to Damascus and Aleppo every single day, but Syria has never even requested to inspect their cargo, never mind force them to land with fighter jets.

Syrian Air director Abdel Latif told Russia Today that Turkey had violated international regulations by intercepting the plane with no warning.

“This will only hurt the Turkish side. We did not receive any preliminary request to detail the cargo onboard the plane; we were forced to land by military fighters. If we received such a request, we would have replied to it,” said Latif, adding that the move was a violation of the Convention on International Civil Aviation and that complaints would be filed.

Imagine if Syria had engaged in such hostilities by intercepting a commercial airliner from a NATO-aligned country that was traveling through its airspace and then having masked men beat up passengers. NATO would immediately respond by imposing a no fly zone over Syria and the “humanitarian” bombardment would begin in earnest.

According to Israeli intelligence outlet DebkaFile, forcing NATO to impose a no fly zone over Syria is precisely Turkey’s aim. This is the primary reason why Turkey keeps launching hostile attacks against Syria in an effort provoke Assad’s regime into a response.

Turkey has already carved out a 10-kilometer buffer strip on Syrian land by means of artillery attacks that have been ongoing for weeks.

“A high-placed US source confirmed to DEBKAfile that Turkey had, by forcing a Syrian civilian Airbus A320 plane en route from Moscow to Damascus to land in Ankara and declaring Syrian airspace “unsafe,” taken the first step toward creating a no-fly zone over Syria,” states the report.

This follows last week’s incident when Turkey accused Syria of firing mortar rounds into Syrian territory. Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan instantly seized upon the opportunity to demand that the United States have its air force impose a no fly zone over Syria, which as we saw with Libya is a euphemism for air bombardment.

Turkey lied to the UN when it claimed Syria had accepted responsibility for the incident, when no such admission of guilt had been made.

Using hostile actions by Turkey as a foundation on which to build consensus for a military intervention in Syria wasoutlined in a Brookings Institution report earlier this year, which admitted that “humanitarian” concerns were a mere ruse for achieving regime change.

Yesterday, US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced that a contingent of U.S. troops would be sent to the Jordanian border over fears that Assad’s regime could turn to its arsenal of chemical weapons. As observers have previously highlighted, this is another potential false flag pretext NATO powers will utilize in order to justify a military assault on Syria.
