Dick Cheney; I'll have a few drinks in celebration when your mechanical parts fail. How is it that a man like Gandolfini is taken from us while you are left to remain here, a festering sore and stain on humanity. You're the tin man. A tin man [along with the cowardly lion George Dubya and the scarecrow Rumsfeld] that's a war criminal and talks of treason when he assisted in domestic attacks on our freedumb.

James Gandolfini Dead at 51

James Gandolfini died today of a massive heart attack in Italy.

From "True Romance" to "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" I've liked James' acting in every single thing I've seen him in... never have I witnessed a bad performance by this man. "The Sopranos" set the bar for the slew of exclusive cable shows that followed it - I am going to have to revisit that show now. James has taken home three Emmy awards.

There is no permanence here.

My thoughts are with his family and friends. Hopefully he is in a better place.

Obama to send more weapons to terrorists in Syria

Chelsea J. Carter

[Try saying it like it is there Chelsea... Obama is sending the arms. - Bryan]

The United States plans to send small arms, ammunition and potentially anti-tank weapons to Syria's rebels, two officials familiar with the matter told CNN on Friday.

President Barack Obama's administration has declined to provide details about increased military assistance for the rebels following its announcement Thursday that Syria crossed a "red line" with its use of chemical weapons. [Declined to provide details??? Oh yeah, he doesn't represent American citizens - he answers to nobody except those at the head of the cabal he represents. And, there is no details to provide because there is an agenda at play here, and Assad ain't part of it. This man, in all seriousness, is a fucking liar and the people that buy this hook, line, and sinker, are idiots. He's been funneling weapons to those terrorists for fucking months. He should be impeached along with all his cronies in cabinet positions, tried for treason, and if found guilty they should all be put into pillories on public display. - Bryan]

Like I said, American's never learn. Obama is, again, aiding al qaeda. Don't you just love it how foreign fighters funneling into a sovereign nation to overthrow its government are spun as "rebels" or freedumb fighters? But hey, if Obama, Clinton, CNN, Fox News, et al says something it must be true right?

By the way... Can you believe it snowed in Los Angeles today? Oh well... if it came from Barrys's mouth or through your TV you'd have believed it.

Obama needs to be impeached.  Like yesterday. Barry Soetoro is waging jihad from DC.

China Destroys US GMO Corn Shipments - What does that say about us?

We Americans like to think we are God's gift to the planet (what we provide to the planet outside of bad music, DU, and GMO food I haven't a clue). We like to pride ourselves that we are this beacon of freedom and liberty to the world while our own government and corporations collude against us (PRISM). We never quite learn our lesson... lied into wars, citizens bailing out corporations and paying for CEO bonuses, allowing our rights and Constitution to be continually eroded from one administration into the next, and more... yet for some reason we have become a bunch of limp pansies that can hold nobody accountable for anything. Nor do we ever demand it. Any one event can only hold the average American's attention for the length of the average nightly news piece.

And here, I find an article, which states China has destroyed US GMO corn shipments. While American citizens are more concerned about stupid trivial things, such as what happened on last night's "Game of Thrones" TV show,  and can't be bothered with their own health and diet, let alone everything else that has mattered for the last eighteen years, and we allow the front, also-known-as the FDA, to be in bed with biotech and big pharma, what does it say about us when even CHINA doesn't want GMO food?!?!? Well, it sure speaks volumes to me when a nation like China refuses to allow shipments of the crap while Americans could care less the ingredients they and their families consume. It's pathetic really.

Honestly, I really don't know why I even bother to get heated about things like this. As George Carlin said:

"It's called the American dream, 'cause you have to be asleep to believe it."

Yeah, but Carlin misses one crucial thing, and it's huge; they own it all because we, or the previous few generations, gave it to them. Occupy is a joke - an occupation doesn't leave to go home... it's the same sham that the silly 1960's revolution was (many of those people that supposedly [or wanted to believe they] "changed the world" in the 60's now hold positions at Google, Microsoft, Monsanto, Goldman Sachs, et al) - the baby boomers changed the world alright... they made it worse. We are equal parts victimizers and victims - by our own hands - but I will never feel bad for the moron that slams his head into the wall and then screams in pain, only to do it again.

The fault lies with you and me. Enjoy what you continue to sow.

**June 15, 2013: In another example that illustrates just how stupid my country and my fellow Americans have become by focusing on more trivial angles of things, you can take a look at the debacle surrounding the Xbox One. Everyone, well, at least those that like Xbox games at least, are winding up with their panties in a bunch over the direction of the console. See, either the vast majority of these morons have no idea what takes places in the world outside their basement and head or they just simply don't care... in other words things that really matter - not one is saying to not give Microsoft money for their part in the NSA's PRISM which violated our rights... and just like the GMO issue, this is just one more that shows you just how close to hopeless things are.

I'm harsh and critical because I, for some reason, care. I see possibility and potential that is continually dismissed or outright squandered.

What will it take for you to care??? What will it take for us to hold people accountable??? In other words; just how fucking bad does it have to get before you realize you should have paid some attention to matters that needed and warranted it?

Meat leftovers being reprocessed into ice cream

Creamy center.

Ethan A. Huff
Natural News
June 12, 2013

There appears to be no limit to how far the processed food industry will go to maximize its profits, even if it means reprocessing animal meat waste and adding it to completely unrelated foods like ice cream. This is the latest endeavor by industrial food researchers in Italy, Belgium, and elsewhere, who are right now developing novel methods to turn meat industry leftovers into protein-rich powders and slurry for the factory food industry.

As disgusting as it sounds, unused muscle tissue, tendons, bones, and other animal byproducts are loaded with proteins and fats that typically end up in landfills. According to FoodProcessing.com, up to 50 percent of the animal weight processed by the meat industry is composted, discarded, or incinerated. [What do you global warming people have to say about this??? - Bryan] But modern science is hoping to basically recycle this waste and turn it back into food. [They can already make food out of shit but who wants it? - Bryan]

But this so-called food will not be recognizable as its own entity, at least not in the traditional sense. All those bones, meat trimmings, and poultry leftovers can effectively be converted into what the food industry has dubbed "animal protein hydrolysates." These hydrolysates are basically liquified or powdered protein and fat blends that can be added to all sorts of other processed foods to boost their overall nutritional content.

'Pink slime'-type animal gruel to be added to processed foods

Sure, various types of hydrolysates are already added to some processed foods currently on the market. But these hydrolysates are typically made from plants or milk, while the new animal protein hydrolysates are derived from actual animal flesh and bone, which puts them in a whole different league. Hydrolyzed whey protein, for instance, is merely derived from the whey of animal milk. But animal protein hydrolysates are essentially ground up and enzymatically processed animal flesh - recall an image of the infamous "pink slime" and you will get an accurate idea of what we are talking about here.

"It appears that the lipid-rich bonanza of 'disused' reject animal bits can easily be turned into a nutritious gunge, paste or gel of some type, apparently ideal for pumping by the [hecatombe] into processed foods such as ice cream," writes Lewis Page facetiously for The Register about the concept.

"Despite the heroic efforts of the meat biz, in which every particle of jelly and gristle may be jetwashed out of the spinal column of a dead animal for later consumption - perhaps in sausage, pie or meat-paste format - and (as we have lately learned) the odd shortcut may be taken with respect to any dead horses that might be lying about, nonetheless huge tonnages of less-attractive meaty nourishment such as guts, eyes, tendons, cartilage, other connective tissue of various kinds, brains, hooves, genitals, etc. etc. all tend to go to waste."

Industrial food processors claim reusing animal waste is 'adding value' to food

To the food industry, though, turning animal waste into food will add value to foods that might be lacking in nutrition. Belgium-based Proliver, for example, already manufactures a lined of chicken- and turkey-based "protein powders" that can apparently be injected into other meat products and used to thicken or enrich other foods:

http://www.proliver.be/nl/home-1.htm

A Russian company has openly admitted that it plans to use animal protein hydrolysates to "enrich" ice cream. According to reports, the company, known as Mobitek-M, has already constructed a manufacturing plant in the Belgorod region of Russia that is capable of processing one hundred tons of "functional animal protein" per day.

Obama, PRISM Class-Action Lawsuit Filed

Douche.

US News
June 12, 2013

Former Justice Department prosecutor Larry Klayman filed a federal class-action lawsuit Wednesday against the nine companies named in a top-secret National Security Agency document published June 6 as partners in the NSA's PRISM Internet surveillance program.

The lawsuit seeks $20 billion in damages and attorney fees and an injunction ending the highly controversial program that began in 2007.

In addition to the nine companies named in a leaked NSA slideshow as providing government investigators direct, real-time access to their servers – AOL, Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, PalTalk, Skype, Yahoo! and YouTube – the lawsuit targets the CEOs of each company, the telecom companies AT&T and Sprint and their CEOs, President Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, NSA director Keith Alexander, the Department of Justice and the NSA. [You, the American people, are these people's enemy. It is you who they have turned their agencies loose upon. Are we ever going to hold anyone accountable for anything ever again?!? - Bryan]

Each of the nine companies has denied knowledge of, or participation in, the PRISM program.

There are three named plaintiffs in the class-action lawsuit filed Wednesday: Charles Strange, a Pennsylvania father whose son Michael, a Navy SEAL Team VI member, died in Afghanistan in 2011, and California private investigators Michael Ferrari and Matt Garrison.

"Defendants' willful acts constitute outrageous conduct insofar as they violated Plaintiffs' and Class members' basic democratic rights, constitutional rights, and exposed them to beyond an 'Orwellian regime of totalitarianism,'" the lawsuit says. "Plaintiffs' and Class members' rights are being surrendered in secret to the demands of unaccountable intelligence and other government agencies, as well as all of the Defendants."

The actions of Obama and the other government officials named in the lawsuit "chill, if not 'kill,' speech by instilling in Plaintiffs, members of the Class, and over a hundred million of Americans the fear that their personal and business conversations with other U.S. citizens and foreigners are in effect tapped and illegally surveyed," the lawsuit says.

Klayman filed a similar class-action lawsuit Monday against Verizon and several government officials for collecting the phone records of millions of Americans with a secret court order. Within a few months, Klayman told U.S. News, the court will likely define the class the suit seeks to represent by ruling that "everyone's in" or by allowing Verizon customers to either opt-in or out-out of that class. He intends for the two cases to be considered jointly.

In a released Wednesday statement, Klayman said: "The American people can... use these class actions to 'man the barricades of freedom' against the establishment government despots and their corporate enablers who seek to enslave them through coercive abuses of their privacy. This Orwellian power grab can only be intended to blackmail the masses into submission in order that these modern day greedy tyrants achieve their corrupt ends."

Both lawsuits were filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Klayman founded the pro-transparency legal group Judicial Watch in 1994 and currently leads an organization called Freedom Watch.

FBI ran child porn operation

J. D. Heyes
Natural News
June 12, 2013

In order to catch the sinner, is it okay to commit the sin? The FBI certainly thinks so, even if the sin is child pornography.

According to the Seattle Post Intelligencer, the nation's top law enforcement office decided to take over a child pornography service in late 2012 then continue to operate it for several weeks thereafter in a bid to catch subscribers to the service.

From the paper:

Following a lengthy investigation, Nebraska-based agents raided the large child pornography service in November hoping to catch users who shared thousands of images showing children being raped, displayed and abused.

According to the report, the bureau operated the subscription service for two weeks in a bid to catch and identify more than 5,000 site users, according to a court statement from a Seattle FBI agent. Court records indicate further that "the site continued to distribute child pornography online while under FBI control; the Seattle-based special agent, a specialist in online crimes against children, detailed the investigation earlier this month in a statement to the court," the paper reported.

In what could possibly be the understatement of the year, the paper further reported: "The investigation appears to mark a departure for the Bureau and other federal law enforcement agencies aiming to root out child porn purveyors."

You think?

Becoming child pornographers to catch child pornographers

In the past, the FBI and other law enforcement agencies made child pornography cases through tips, undercover operations with agents and officers posing as customers or through reviews of materials seized as part of a search of child porn clearinghouses, like one raided in Nebraska recently.

"While investigators are known to have posed as child porn dealers - a 2011 effort involved targeted emails to suspected pedophiles - it is not apparent that the FBI previously dealt child porn as part of a sting," said the Post-Intelligencer.

That would be like female FBI agents actually becoming hookers to catch "Johns," or actually robbing banks to catch bank robbers.

Naturally, the FBI didn't want to talk about the investigation or why agents in charge of the investigation would make the insane decision to continue operating a website featuring child pornography for any reason, regardless of the motivation.

What makes this even more disturbing is that, according to court records, the FBI wasn't even able to trace the site's customers (think ATF's botched "Fast and Furious" operation).

"This remains an ongoing investigation, and local court rules and Department of Justice policy prohibit me from providing more information at this time," Sandy Breault, spokeswoman for the FBI Omaha Division, told the PI. "As in any given matter, if charges are filed, they will eventually become a matter of public record."

According to the paper, the site - called "Website A" in court filings - the child porn service was listed as an online bulletin board. It's primary business was the advertising and sharing of child pornographic images.

Some 'law enforcement techniques' are just over the top

Per the paper:

Agents in the Omaha area seized "Website A" on Nov. 16 and continued to operate it until Dec. 2, monitoring messages from users of the website, the Seattle special agent told the court. The site was shut down Dec. 2.

At the time the service was shuttered it had more than 5,600 users and 24,000 posts, nearly all of which related to child pornography. At least 10,000 photos of children being posed nude, raped or otherwise abused were broadcast through the site.

Some of the user chats were every bit as disturbing as they were disgusting. Perverts went online to talk about subjects like, "How to lure a child into my car," "Meeting other pedos (pedophiles) in real life," and this horrific message threat: "Do kids LIKE anal sex?"

No question the users of this site - and others like it - are sick animals that need to be removed from civil society. But operating child porn to catch child pornographers, and to be unsuccessful at that, is way over the top.

"Game of Thrones" Becomes Game of Woes

I guess I will begin by saying the honeymoon phase between me and this show is over. Last season moved slower than I liked... but this last season, the one that ended last night, my hair grows faster than the plot moves.

Let us recap what happened; a man had his penis cut off, the Kingslayer made it back to enjoy some incest minus one hand, and the Starks were nearly wiped out completely. That sounds like quite a bit right? Well, in say, roughly ten hours those events are but a fraction of an otherwise slow, plodding pace mostly comprised of [insert name] goes from point A to point B.

I never read the books but I have read plenty of books to know that many people skip over the endless descriptive drivel that often accompanies works of fiction - and this season has included much of that, which I can only assume was their plan as they are splitting the book between season 3 and 4. It turns out that they really are probably not splitting seasons due to so much content, that in fact they are splitting it to ride on their fanfare and hype as they are quickly catching up to the creator, George R.R. Martin. It is absolutely no wonder then, why they take the twist in The Red Wedding episode, an event which lasts short of nine minutes, and blow so much hype into it you have morons everywhere putting up their horror and shock on YouTube (where are these asshats when it comes to real life concerns???).

This woman's character thoroughly irritated me. I waited three seasons to see this.

Further detracting from the future possibility of me giving a shit what-so-ever about this show is the fact that they are considering doing prequels to allow Martin to complete more material.

In sum, "Game of Thrones" was a good idea HBO sought to make a cash cow out of before there was enough content in existence to go the distance. To me that's just dumb.

When some of the most epic films on the big screen don't even make a 9/10 on IMDB it really says something when this failure to live to the bar it initially set is still rated above 9/10!!! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS. Wait; people that love this show also love "True Blood", "Ghost Whisperer", and "Joan of Arcadia"... that explains a lot to me.

"Winter is coming..."
"Winter is coming...."
"Winter is coming....."
"Winter is coming... ..."
"Winter... is... um, coming... ... ..."

How long does it fucking take for winter to finally hit??? Oh wait. I always thought winter had to do with the "white walkers"... but this season they are spinning it "winter has come for the Starks". Maybe I will never know... Maybe I don't even care.

Movie Review: "The Place Beyond the Pines" (No Spoilers)

Let me preface this by saying that it is pure coincidence that I'm reviewing yet another Gosling film. Make no mistake, I am by no means a fanboy or do I believe he is acting's great white hope - I see him as I see Nick Cage, only to a lesser degree; he has some solid performances mired by some very stupid role choices... such as the horrid "Gangster Squad" - a film which would be well up high on a list of the worst movies I have had the misfortune to see.

When I initially heard about "The Place Beyond the Pines" I wrote it off as "Drive" part two due to what I got from the trailer. Let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised to find a film that runs much, much, much deeper than a "Drive Part 2" ever would.

Hmm... what to say here without giving up too much and ruining someone's experience with the film?

First off, you have a solid cast here... I wouldn't say it is perfect (what is?), but everyone plays their part very well; there is nothing over-the-top here... and all performances truly show that the total is a sum of its parts. Ryan Gosling is restrained as usual, only this time, during the few scenes where pushes it, he is reminiscent of Sean Penn. Eva Mendes does a great job supporting the story. Bradley Cooper shows his ability at digging deeper than we are used to seeing, effectively giving the performance of his career to date. Ray Liotta is Ray Liotta; only this is the Ray Liotta we grew up with. Both Emory Cohen and Dane DeHaan do a great job as well. This film has many angles and many parts. It is the type of film that leaves you with it swimming around your head while you discover new undercurrents you weren't initially aware of.

Where "The Departed", to me at least, was entirely epic, this is very good and runs in a similar vein with how it effected me. You have the consequences of your decisions here in a very, very big way... from the get go. You also have the issue of individual self-worth. There is an running undercurrent of the relationship between fathers and sons here as well... in a big way. And of course, you have loss.

Director Derek Cianfrance has done a fantastic job here, as well as the cast... but the writers managed to write a story [which is a rare original - not a sequel or remake as Hollywood seems to love these days] that might come as close as possible to a real-life representation of "what-if" given the circumstances that set this film up.

If I was told to write down a list of my top twenty-five movies this would be on it... I am very picky and atmosphere in films matters a great deal to me, and this film has it. With that said, I am not a fan of superhero movies or zombies, in any capacity or shape - so, while I was enthralled by this film, if you thought "Transformers" or "The Avengers" touched greatness we don't have much in common. This is by far one of the best films I have seen in the last few years.

I realize this review touches on none of the plot mechanics of the film as so many typical reviews do... the reason is that I believe a review shouldn't give away details or unfold a plot before readers have even seen a film - why even see a film when you read about each major event - that is a synopsis, not a review. I told you the themes that run throughout the film, that the cast and director did a very good job, and the writers gave us something of a breath of fresh air at a time when we all need it. Now, go see it.

[This appears to have been a limited release... you might have to wait until August 6, 2013 to rent it. Do yourself a favor and put it at the top of your rental queue if that's the case.]

Insider: Bilderberg Considering Press Conference

Secretive group faces internal pressure to lift veil of secrecy

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
June 5, 2013

A source close to the security operation for the 2013 Bilderberg Group conference has told Infowars that numerous members of the secretive organization are aggrieved at the way it is being operated with scant regard for transparency and are lobbying for Bilderberg steering committee members to allow them to address protesters this week.

The Bilderberg Group is an annual confab of around 140 of the world’s power brokers from the spheres of banking, business, government, and academia. This year it meets in Watford, England from June 6-9. The group notoriously loathes attention of any kind – which makes this development all the more groundbreaking.

The source made it clear to us that a number of Bilderberg members, presumably the newer and younger attendees, are unhappy at the way the group has conducted its activities with total contempt for the democratic process, which has resulted in an increasing number of protesters being drawn to the event each year.

Campaigners set to congregate within the grounds of the Grove, the 5 star luxury hotel at which Bilderberg will scheme, are preparing a speaking platform at which they will invite Bilderberg members to address demonstrators and the press.

If a member or a representative from Bilderberg does speak publicly about the organization, it would be an unprecedented move. However, anyone expecting the group to admit that it is a shadow government manipulating world affairs behind closed doors is probably going to be disappointed.

While the source did not mention the names of specific individuals who expressed this view, it’s reasonable to speculate that it is coming from the so-called ‘Libertarian camp’ within the group, headed up by Paypal founder and hedge fund manager Peter Thiel, who is again in attendance this year.

Another interesting detail to emerge from the source who spoke with Infowars is the fact that preparations for the Bilderberg conference in Watford have been ongoing for a staggering 18 months. This again underscores the reality that Bilderberg is a major hub of power and influence and not merely a casual talking shop or golfing holiday for the elite, which is how much of the mainstream media still spins it.

The 2013 Bilderberg Group meeting has already received a deluge of media coverage before it has even officially begun, a sign that public pressure is forcing the clandestine cabal to lift its veil of secrecy and become more open.

However, such a process inevitably means that Bilderberg members will merely shift into newly emerging power networks and Bilderberg’s influence will begin to wane – although this will go down as a major victory for those who have spent years attempting to deflate the group’s bubble of secrecy.

Editor’s note from Alex Jones: I can confirm the above information that we received from a high level government contact inside Bilderberg is true. In the last two months alone, I have spoken with two different contacts in the US Senate that relayed the fact that there was a huge internal debate going on within Bilderberg concerning the issue of transparency. Bottom line – the Bilderberg group knows that their cover has been completely blown and is now debating whether they should have partial disclosure of the group’s agenda to diffuse growing scrutiny. I talked to another source at the highest levels of the media-entertainment complex and was told that billionaire Bilderberg attendee Peter Thiel is pushing for Bilderberg transparency. We are seeing a seismic shift in the transatlantic western power axis and a revolution inside Bilderberg. Paul Watson’s recent exposé of the merger between Google and Bilderberg is key in understanding how important this information really is. Watch this space for another report soon on illegal lobbying and Bilderberg.

The auditorium grew hushed as a senior Watford borough councillor took to his feet. The police liaison team looked nervous. They had made their presentation and laid out their plans for this "unique event": the anti-terrorism zones, the identity checks, the restriction on vehicles stopping in the vicinity of this "important international conference". But now it was the turn of the people of Watford to speak.

What would they make of this international three-day policy summit, with its heavyweight delegate list bulging with billionaire financiers, party leaders and media moguls, protected by the biggest security operation Watford has ever seen?

"What this whole thing boils down to," boomed the councillor, "is this: are you, or are you not, setting a precedent for vehicles parking on the verge of the Old Hempstead Road?"

Thus began an hour-long (hour-and-a-half-long?) discussion about whether or not cars and press vehicles should be allowed to park on a strip of grass running parallel to the A41, just opposite the Grove hotel. It was like a weird, dystopian episode of Keeping Up Appearances. Never mind that our ministers are meeting in secret with the heads of Shell, BP, Google and Amazon – what about the verge!

There was an audible gasp when, under intense questioning, Chief Inspector Rhodes was forced to admit, citing a "bylaw", that the no-parking signs on the verge were actually fraudulent: no such law existed.. One lady, almost beside herself, gestured to the audience. "There are media here! This story is going to get out!" The verge would never be the same again, thanks to Bilderberg.

The audience was an odd mix. Half were residents from around the venue worried about the possibility of tyre-damage to a strip of lawn; the other half were journalists from around the world worried about the geopolitical implications of a conference at which BAE, Stratfor and General Petraeus will be discussing "Africa's challenges".

Both halves were worried about the funding for the gigantic security operation. The police assured sceptical residents that the conference would be "cost-neutral" for Hertfordshire, thanks in part to a "donation" from the conference organisers. This "donation" will have come, in part at least, from the Bilderberg Association, a registered UK charity that takes "donations" from BP and Goldman Sachs.

So, in a sense, the Herts police are doing charity work for Goldman Sachs. Which must be a comfort for the executives of Goldman Sachs attending the conference: the vice-chairman, a director and the chairman of Goldman Sachs International. They've got their charity team out patrolling, keeping the lenses at bay.
